If you’re here, I would bet you’re wondering what Shelby Thomas Creative is and how we came to be!
I am Shelby Thomas, the owner of STC! I am a God loving mother, wife and business owner. In 2022, I had my first child, and she became the center of my world. I was able to mostly stay home with her for about 6 months, but then I had to head back to my full-time job. After the first week, I knew I couldn’t continue to work the normal 9-5 or for me 7-4 and sometimes nights and weekends. I wanted to spend more time with my family and didn’t want to miss out on the little moments of my daughter’s life. What was I to do?
After much deliberation and discussions with my mentor’s and network I decided to start freelancing to see if starting my own business would be a possibility. In March of 2023, Shelby Thomas Creative was born. I reached out to many people in my network to let them know I would be willing to work on design and social media projects for them. One client turned into two and on and on.
In November of 2023, my one-woman band turned into a team. I wanted to be able to offer more for my clients, some needed websites others strategic planning. So, I again reached out to my network to start building a team who had the skills to take on their needs. We now service a full portfolio of clients and offer a full suite of services. I am so thankful to the Lord for closing doors and opening window so my business could grow into what it is and will continue to grow into.
